 Kylie的高尔夫“生涯”从幼儿园就开始了，她选择高尔夫的原因也很简单，就是想与有着同样兴趣的父亲有更多的时间在一起。这项起初是为了父亲的运动就这样开始了，但幼儿时期的Kylie并不知道，高尔夫是“与自己竞赛”的，平时的训练总是自己一个人，会感到枯燥和厌倦，但在爸爸的鼓励与支持下，这一坚持便是8年多了。

如今快15岁的Kylie，已经是个小有成就的高尔夫球手。她的每一次挥杆，每打一个洞，都充分的调动了她的思维，增加了她策略性的思考。为了练习高尔夫，Kylie放弃了白皙的皮肤，常年累月的刻苦练习，即使是三伏天她也会每天坚持练球2个小时。每一场比赛至少也需要6小时以上的时间。一分耕耘一分收获，正因为她的坚持，收获了如今的好成绩。

Kylie's golf "career" began in kindergarten, and she chose golf simply because she wanted to spend more time with her father, who shared her interests. This sport was started for her father at first, but Kylie did not know that golf was a "competition with herself" when she was a child. She always trained by herself, so she would feel bored and tired. With her father's encouragement and support, it has been more than 8 years.  

Now nearly 15 years old, Kylie is already an accomplished golfer. Her every swing and putt play fully mobilized her thinking and increased her strategic thinking. Kylie has given up her fair skin to practice golf for up to two hours a day, even in the midsummer. Each match also takes at least six hours. No pains, no gains, it is because of persistence, she has harvested good results now.

时间规划是目前我们“学生运动员”必备的技能，学校不会因为高尔夫的训练而降低对于学生学业的要求。那么为了让高尔夫变成人生的一种增值，就必须要学会提升自身的学习效率，预留更多的打球时间，兼顾作业、考试和大大小小的比赛，甚至要牺牲一部分的休息时间、娱乐时间。不过经历过刻苦的训练之后，也必会成为人生的一笔财富。 

Kylie说自己在8-10岁的时候，在别的小朋友都是周末在公园和父母玩耍，跟朋友一起相聚，去游乐园看电影，她却一直在练球，因为练球她放弃了很多玩乐的时间。说到如何平衡自己的学业和训练，现在的Kylie一个星期至少会保证3次的练习时间，每周二和周四的社团活动课是她的专属练球时间，周五放学之后还会再训练3个小时以上。如果周末有时间的话也是会去球场训练。

Training and learning

Time management is an essential skill for our "student athletes", and we will not lower our academic requirements for students due to golf training. In order to build golf as an added value in life, students must learn to improve their study efficiency, reserve more playing time, take into account homework, exams and competitions, and even sacrifice some of their rest time and entertainment time. However, after hard training, it will become a fortune in life.

When Kylie was 8-10 years old, while others spent weekends at the park playing with their parents, hanging out with friends, and going to amusement parks to watch movies, Kylie kept practicing, and she gave up so much of her fun time. As for how to balance school and training, Kylie now practices at least three times a week. Every Tuesday and Thursday, she has a club class, then she practices for three hours or more after school on Fridays. If she has time on weekends, she will also go to the court to practice.

美国PGA职业高尔夫管理教育项目的英文全称为The PGA Professional Golf Management Program，简称PGA PGM。该项目由美国职业高尔夫球协会(简称PGA)统一管理，其主要目标是为高尔夫产业界培养职业高尔夫管理人才。 

严格来说，PGM不能算一个专业，而只是一个专业方向，PGM都是依托其他专业办学，如：商学院的市场营销、工商管理和接待管理专业；农业科学和自然资源学院的相关专业；休闲事业管理专业。

PGM依托的学科门类主要有两种，即管理学和农业科学，其中绝大多数是依托管理学科的某一个专业办学，主要培养经营管理人才，依托农业科学专业的培养目标则是培养球场管理人才，如高尔夫球场总监等。

Study abroad

PGA Professional Golf Management Program is called PGA PGM for short. Administered by the Professional Golf Association of the United States (PGA), the main goal is to develop professional golf management talent for the golf industry.  

Strictly, PGM is a major direction instead of a major. It relies on other majors, for example, Marketing, Business Administration and Reception Management of the Business School. Related majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Major in Leisure Management.

PGM mainly relies on two disciplines, namely management and agricultural science. Most rely on a major of the management discipline to train operation and management talents, while the training target of the agricultural science major is to train course management talents, such as Golf Course Director.

PGM employment goals

Objective: Develop leaders for the golf industry and provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue golf as a career and aspire to succeed in the golf industry.
 

Employment: Golf Teaching Market, Golf Facilities Management Association Management, Marketing, Golf Consulting, Golf Product Sales, Golf Technology Research, Competition Industry, Golf Project Development, Golf Equipment Manufacturing.
